Job Title: Value Stream Leader - Maintenance Department: Maintenance Reports To: Maintenance Manager Job Description: The Maintenance Value Stream Leader (along with the Maintenance Supervisors) is responsible for ensuring that all plant equipment and facilities are in good, safe, working order allowing Stackpole International, PMDM to effectively and efficiently meet or surpass company goals and objectives. Maintenance Value Stream functions include PLC/Controls, Hydraulics and Facility maintenance. Responsibilities: Lead and motivate all maintenance staff reporting directly to the position. Work with the Maintenance Supervisors to lead and motivate all maintenance staff Ensure Maintenance personnel perform work in a safe and efficient manner including the enforcement of safety codes and policies. Be part of the team to help develop and maintain world class maintenance policies and standards Participate in the recruiting of skilled maintenance personnel and overseeing their training and development needs. Be part of the team to help develop and implement the preventive maintenance program, TPM Programs and Lean/5S. Maintenance of building and all outside properties and utilities infrastructure. Share Health, Safety and Environmental responsibility for PMDM. Responsibility for outside contractors related to Maintenance projects and facilities service contracts. Participate in new product/process reviews and provide recommendations for equipment robustness, standardization and utilities requirements. Support Overall Equipment Efficiency improvements that affect MTBF and MTTR. Work in compliance with Stackpole PM-Mississauga Quality and EHS Policies and Procedures, including IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001. Job Requirements: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, or a recognized Trade Certificate 3 to 5 years supervisory experience Must demonstrate technical competence with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and PLC/electrical systems. Good inter-personal, communication and problem solving skills in order to support team goals and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
