In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications) ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in social work Degree equivalency ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE E1. Significant* and recent** experience providing psychosocial intervention/treatment using evidence based psychosocial modalities (such as CBT, CPT, EMDR, DBT) E2. Significant* and recent** experience providing psychosocial assessment to adults as primary client group. E3. Experience working independently with minimal clinical supervision. E4. Significant* and recent** experience working in an Adult Mental Health care environment, including having performed assessment and treatment/structured therapy. E5. Experience establishing or developing productive and cooperative partnerships with community based services. Significant experience is defined as experience associated with having performed a broad range of related activities which would normally be acquired over a period of approximately 2 years **Recent is defined as experience obtained within the last six (6) years COMPETENCIES: Demonstrating Integrity and Respect Thinking Things Through Working Effectively with Others Showing Initiative and being Action Oriented Communication ABILITIES: A1. Ability to apply the theories of individual therapy used in clinical social work practice. A2. Ability to develop and foster therapeutic relationships with a variety of clients. A3. Ability to complete a comprehensive social work assessment for adults with mental health disorders. Experience providing group therapy AE6. Experience providing assessment and treatment of addictions.
