In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications) ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in social work Degree equivalency ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE E1. Significant* and recent** experience providing psychosocial intervention/treatment using evidence based psychosocial modalities (such as CBT, CPT, EMDR, DBT) E2. Significant* and recent** experience providing psychosocial assessment to adults as primary client group. E3. Experience working independently with minimal clinical supervision. E4. Significant* and recent** experience working in an Adult Mental Health care environment, including having performed assessment and treatment/structured therapy. E5. Experience establishing or developing productive and cooperative partnerships with community based services. Significant experience is defined as experience associated with having performed a broad range of related activities which would normally be acquired over a period of approximately 2 years **Recent is defined as experience obtained within the last six (6) years COMPETENCIES: Demonstrating Integrity and Respect Thinking Things Through Working Effectively with Others Showing Initiative and being Action Oriented Communication ABILITIES: A1. Ability to apply the theories of individual therapy used in clinical social work practice. A2. Ability to develop and foster therapeutic relationships with a variety of clients. A3. Ability to complete a comprehensive social work assessment for adults with mental health disorders. Graduation with a Master's degree in social work from a recognized post-secondary institution with a clinical emphasis or specialization. Degree equivalency ASSET EXPERIENCE AE1. Experience providing cognitive behaviour therapy. AE2. Experience providing trauma therapy. AE3. Experience providing marital therapy. AE4. Experience providing family therapy AE5. Experience providing group therapy AE6. Experience providing assessment and treatment of addictions.
