Position: Skilled Labourers - MEG Energy Pipeline Projects Project Type: Construction Project Location: Shift: Day Schedule: 8/6 or 21/7 Accommodations: Poplar Ridge Lodge Travel Details: Drive in/ Drive out with Travel Allowance Provided GC: Graham Allied Partner: Integrated Constructors Ltd. Reference Number: 21926 Located in the Southern Athabasca region, MEG’s Christina Lake Project is a multi-phased project approximately 150 kilometers South of Fort McMurray in Northeast Alberta. Comprised of approximately 200 square kilometers of leases, this SAGD operation currently has regulatory approvals in place to produce approximately 210,000 bpd. All workers will be staying at the state-of-the-art Poplar Ridge Lodge, which boasts a gym, rec area, commissary, laundry facility, Wi-Fi, cable, custom sandwiches, as well as full breakfasts and dinners. We have an amazing, experienced site team at MEG Energy who have safety and efficient work practices at the top of mind. Jardeg is recruiting Skilled Labourers to join the team supporting MEG Energy Pipeline Projects on site near Conklin, Alberta. Long term positions with full-time hours on either an 8/6 OR 21/7 shift rotation. Drive-in/ drive-out to site with Travel Allowance provided. Currently a $3 per hour incentive will be paid on top of base hourly rate to Skilled Labourers for all hours worked (regular and overtime). Currently a $500 ($250 each way) Travel Allowance offered with requirement to drive to and from site each shift. Skilled Labourers assist skilled trades people and perform a wide range of tasks at construction sites. Skilled Labourer Responsibilities: Cleaning of company vehicles and/or equipment Loading, unloading, identifying and distributing materials and equipment Cleaning and preparation of construction components (Modules, Process equipment etc.) Execute assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner Ask required questions and take the required direction Understand and follow the company's safety management system and core values Maintain all company tools and equipment to the required standards Foster a cooperative and positive work atmosphere Minimum Requirements: Minimum 3-years of related experience Previous construction experience Physical strength and stamina Manual dexterity Safety conscious attitude COME AND GET YOUR BOOTS DIRTY With a significant presence in the construction, industrial maintenance, and turnaround sectors, Jardeg is the largest recruiter of skilled trades in Canada.
