People led change ... customer obsessed, resourceful and versatile leaders required Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Credit Card Product Management & Strategy, the Senior Manager, Credit Card Portfolio Optimization is responsible for establishing the strategic direction for Laurentian Bank's Credit Card Portfolio Optimization. This includes collaborating with partners and leading cross-functional teams to optimize the Credit Card Portfolio through driving financial performance (P&L) & KPIs across the portfolio and enhancing the bank's product offering by reimagining banking products to exceed customers' expectations. Responsibilities When you wake up in the morning you'll be excited to start the day because you and team are empowered to make a difference º Advocate for the customer and colleague experience and be the consummate product champion and owner, ensuring organizational alignment against objectives º Lead the portfolio optimization strategy and value proposition development, associated roadmaps, monthly business review and annual business plans, including ensuring tactical execution across the customer journey º Lead harmonization of products and product innovation to ensure alignment with customer needs - experiences, features, benefits, and new capabilities º Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize product performance and create alignment against business line objectives. º Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse groups successfully, even under challenging conditions º Partner with marketing and sales effectiveness to develop strategies and tactics that influence profitability, sales, and portfolio performance. º Work closely with counterparts in Finance to ensure alignment to performance metrics. º Ongoing management of all aspects of the product portfolio including sales, share analysis, research, portfolio metrics reporting, competitive positioning reviews and create action plans [as required] to enhance the product performance. º Develop a framework to measure and report on product performance, capturing relevant and actionable insight. º Create a systematic framework to capture competitive intelligence. Package and communicate findings to key stakeholders. º Lead the development of business casing and product initiative / campaign kickoffs. º Keep abreast of changes in regulations in order to ensure that the department's procedures, projects and practices evolve accordingly. The position can be performed remotely across Canada Qualifications Your background and experience is both broad and deep º Thorough knowledge of financial services and Credit Card products and end-to-end product experiences. Proven ability to digitize products and redesign traditional products to exceed changing consumer expectations. º University Degree in a related field. º Minimum of 5+ years of product development, management and P&L experience. º Demonstrated experience with market evaluations, financial analysis, business case development, product pricing, new product design, and planning. º Self-motivated and results oriented individual with strong leadership, decision-making, analytical and problem solving skills. º Creative, strategic thinker who challenges the status quo. º A highly effective communicator with well-developed presentation skills. º Strong quantitative and analytical skills º Strong relationship management, negotiation and influencing skills. º Organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting established timelines. º Bilingual (French/English) verbal and written communication skills are assets.
