We are currently seeking a: Registered Physiotherapist – Ottawa (part-time and full-time caseloads available, flexible schedule) Bilingual English/French speaking considered an asset. Responsibilities: To provide physiotherapy consultation, assessment and planned interventions for clients in the specified regions through Champlain Rehab Solutions Assessment and implementation of physiotherapy interventions. Assess clients using interviews, standardized and informal assessment technique in accordance with professional practice guidelines and standards established by Champlain Rehab Solutions. Attend client related meetings to report on assessment findings and discuss plans for interventions. Progress reports and discharge as required. Document all assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress and discharge summaries of interventions as required by the profession, referral source and the agency. Implement client interventions based on assessment information, client input and in conjunction with the client’s integrated care plan. Ensure that service provided are best practice, evidence based and evaluated through the routine use of valid and reliable outcome measurements. Adheres to the code of ethics of the profession, in maintain standards of practice for the profession as defined by the Ontario College of Physiotherapist. Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited program in Physiotherapy and are a member in good standing of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Registered, in good standing with the College of Physiotherapist of Ontario. Minimum of 2 years clinical experience working adults/geriatrics . Specialized courses to support areas of clinical expertise. Clinical expertise to provide a variety of physiotherapy interventions. Knowledge of community care requirements and resources available. Excellent consultation and teaching skills, and utilizes an evidence base to clinical practice. Familiar with the routine use of valid and reliable outcome measures to support clinical interventions. Experience working with vulnerable clients and family centered care. Demonstrated ability to recognize safety concerns, communicate effectively using a computer and/or mobile device.
