Equivalent Experience Looking for a PLC electrician with an electrical ticket for our busy and growing Etobicoke plant. The perfect candidate is available to start ASAP. Please apply if interested. Must have a valid 309A or 442A ticket. This job will be 50% troubleshooting focused and 50% programming focused. Description: The troubleshooting, programming, and maintenance of PLC’s, specifically but not limited to Omron and Siemens. The Process Control Technician will promote a safe, clean and comfortable work environment. This person has a thorough knowledge of electrical safety regulations, ESA, CSA, and arch flash safety. The troubleshooting, programming and maintenance of Robotics equipment specifically but not limited to Fanuc and Kuka. Involvement in the troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machines. Programming in G-CODE is an asset. The Preventative Maintenance of all electrical equipment. The understanding and use of Infrared Scanners on electrical equipment. The maintenance and updating of all electrical equipment drawings and PLC programs. The installation and wiring of small electrical control projects. The individual will be expected to correct small mechanical issues that could arise. For example, should a drive belt need replacement, he would be expected to replace the belt. Shift: Day: 7am-3pm $38.45/hr Top Skills Details: Electrical, Troubleshooting Additional Skills & Qualifications: Prefer 309A or 442A ticket Minimum 3 years of experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Excellent communication skills, fluent in English. Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills. Must be a strong self-directed and reliable individual.
