We’ve got what you’re looking for. Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Manager of Project Management Services to join our team! We are looking for a Manager of Project Management Services with experience managing and delivering projects throughout Western Canada projects from initiation to completion to join our team; one who inspires loyalty and commitment and understands design, construction, and delivering leading-edge transportation projects in our Western Canadian operations. This position requires a solid track record of managing projects and a leading team of project managers, assistant project managers, and project management technician/coordinators. What you’ll be doing: Act as the Client Representative to facilitate the delivery of transportation projects for key government clients Lead project workshops in scope definition, risk management, change management, and cost estimations Seek opportunities for continuous process improvements Responsible for financial and employee performance, business development, and operational excellence Drive the development of the team members by coaching and supporting career development, employee engagement, recruiting and retention Develop, track, and maintain project cost reports, schedules, procurement, and document management Review invoices, change orders, and payments to all contractors, vendors, and consultants What Required Skills You’ll Bring: Managing multiple priorities and assignments successfully Adept at communicating effectively and in a positive manner with a variety of people including Indigenous groups, technical experts, government officials, project partners and the public Presenting information to external and internal audiences Strong organizational skills to keep all phases of the project moving forward and keeping stakeholders informed Firm understanding of all phases of transportation projects and delivery methods What Desired Skills You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering or Business (or related field) Experience working on BC Ministry of Transportation & Infrastructure, Alberta Transportation, Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure, and/or Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation projects Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate from Project Management Institute Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Not Applicable/None This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
