Job Title Manager, Operations & Currency Processing Job Description What is the opportunity? This position is responsible for quality leadership and direction to employee’s onsite. Reporting to the Manager Cash Services (offsite). Operational support for various day to day functions where the main focus is accuracy, efficiency and to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA) are met at all times. Accountable for the delivery of goals and objectives of the Centre. Main point of contact for client (branches & external clients) and Armoured Car Courier (ACC) escalations. What will you do? Manages Centre responsibility for risk/compliance (ie: Access Manager, Delegation of Authorities, Unit Administration Regulatory Guide & Unit Financial Guide, Anti Money Laundering, Privacy, Fraud, Business Continuity Planning, Expenses, Custody, Internal Audit & Audit Reviews. Takes ownership of escalated client/service partner issues as a priority ensuring resolution at source. Works with team to complete cause and effect analysis ensuring gaps are actioned, implemented and closed. Keeps up to date on all communications including changes to RBC and Cash Services Policy and Procedure Library. Ensure timely communication & implementation of changes. Champions coaching routines, meetings, communications to staff. Primary onsite contact for day to day operation & after hour alarm response protocols. Premise liaison between Landlord & RBC to ensure building maintenance is executed. Lead by example, and be hands on with the staff when needed with operational assistance. Executes change, proactively supports the team. Manages and supports staffing & training within the Centre. What do you need to succeed? Must have: Strong organizational & decision-making skills. Working knowledge of Operations (General Ledger balancing, OnDemand, RBC systems) Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable with Technology. Effective time management skills that keep you organized and on schedule. Can work independently & be a leader within the team. Ability to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment. Monitor, act & react to situations that require attention & pivot quickly. Proven abilities to lead and manage a team. What’s in it for you?
