Job description

The Human Resources Generalist will provide HR support in an automotive manufacturing setting for all Human Resources functions at the Brampton Assembly Plant. Main responsibilities include recruitment and onboarding; data analysis and reporting for all employment related initiatives; headcount and manpower tracking; attendance tracking and coding, administration of all leave programs in accordance with company policy and employment standards. Additional responsibilities may include initiatives for training and learning programs; development and administration of employment programs and providing support for labour relations assignments. Basic Qualifications : University level Bachelor's degree Strong interest in growing as a Human Resources professional Minimum 12 months prior work experience in the Human Resources field Interest in working in a manufacturing environment Strong communication, team building and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and record keeping skills Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite Legally eligible to work in Canada Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business, or related field Strong project management and analytical skills Prior Human Resources or Labour Relations experience in a unionized environment Knowledge of employment laws and regulations including Ontario Human Rights Code, Employment Standards Act, Labour Relations Act and the Occupational Health and Safety Act Our benefits reflects the FCA commitment to helping you reach your personal and professional goals.
