PROFILE Responsible for supporting the business development and marketing initiatives in the Vancouver office. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide support for business development and marketing related initiatives in the Vancouver office. Coordinate and execute seminars and events with professionals, committees or practice groups keeping inline with budgetary requirements. Create event invitations and invitee lists, track RSVP’s and attendance at seminars and events and report on attendance. Provide support on the day of events. Source and order swag and client gifts for events. Gather information for weekly communications and report on editorial activities and speaking engagements for specific NPG and IG teams. Provide proposal support including research, copy editing, and drafting text. QUALIFICATIONS Post secondary education in a business and/or marketing discipline. A minimum of (3) three years of experience in the coordination and execution of marketing and business development initiatives, preferably within a professional services organization. Ability to liaise with all levels of staff with professionalism, tact and diplomacy. Exceptional organizational and project management skills (ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines). Exceptional time management, written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills. High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc) with experience using CRM Database (InterAction). Ability to collaborate, excel and deliver outcomes in a virtual team environment Client service oriented (internal and external). Proactive self-starter who is detail oriented and analytical.
