JOB OVERVIEW The Analyst, Business Insights is a subject matter expert for advisor and client financial and non-financial business data assets with a focus on Assante Wealth Management. Leveraging this knowledge of corporate data, the Analyst provides information, analysis, and/or data visualization support to business partners and stakeholders within and across the CI Financial group of companies for the purpose making high-quality, fact-based business decisions to drive better business outcomes. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Administration of Assante Reward and Recognition programs, including Monthly preparation including acting as key contact gathering and providing information to/from external companies Post processing review and testing of results to ensure accuracy Providing results to fields teams and key branches Responding to inquiries from advisors, assistants and field staff throughout the year Maintenance & enhancements of intranet pages Yearly preparation for final process and intensive testing of internal and external data Track and register program participants Provide guidance to relationship managers during practice and branch transitions Provide senior management with results for sign off Liaise with other departments for year-end and new program year launch Develop reports, dashboards and perform ad-hoc queries as required using the appropriate reporting technologies Interpret the data and help business units to understand and make use of the data Create data visualizations that support decision making Proactively identify, recommend and deliver automation and innovative reporting that is both effective and introduces efficiencies in process, where able Understand how systems are used by operational teams in ways that impact data and identify data dependencies Work with Data Governance to protect data assets Where data is not readily available, support business needs by clarifying requirements and acting as a liaison between corporate departments and IT to obtain required information Responsible for data quality and accuracy [system enhancements/upgrades] Subject matter expert resource on data for projects assigned Create and execute test plans and document project summaries Key contact for internal and external sales sources, including sales and asset reporting from, dealership system reports Monitor operational reports for consistency and accuracy Prepare and maintain process documents to support reporting best practices WHAT YOU WILL BRING: Experience 3 + years related working experience in the Financial Services industry 3+ years working with Data, including reporting and testing Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics or Statistics and/or equivalent applicable analysis experience Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) designation and/or other related analytics education is an asset Canadian Securities Course and/or IFIC Mutual Funds Course and/or other related industry education (i.e. CFP) is an asset Working knowledge of Salesforce Report and Dashboard functions an asset SQL read and write skills an asset Experience using SAP Business Objects, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau and/or other business intelligence tools an asset Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills Knowledge of business processing systems Strong technical knowledge in data mining, reporting tools Strong attention to detail in large data sets; strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity Strong process mapping skills Good relationship management skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US Our dedication to the Employee Experience at CI is aimed at supporting, empowering and inspiring our talented team through: Recognition & Compensation Training & Development Health & Well-being Communication & Feedback #LI-HYBRID #IND #CI_ONT #LI-AR1 Please submit your resume in confidence by clicking “Apply”.
