Since 1993 GAC has established itself as a leading provider of aircraft component MRO services to the aerospace industry. We provide landing gear, air cycle machine and pneumatic valve component overhaul and loaner services to aircraft operators around the world. GAC is currently seeking an energetic & highly motivated Aircraft Component Technician to join our growing team. In this role you will: · Be an integral member of our Landing Gear overhaul team. · Follow component repair manuals to carry out maintenance on Landing Gear. · Carry out the tasks of disassembly, inspection, assembly, modification and test of Landing Gear. · Record all maintenance tasks carried out on aircraft components on work order packages. · Measure parts for wear and return to service, using precision measuring instruments. Ideal Qualifications: · Experience working on aircraft Landing Gear. · Landing gear parts machining. · A valid “G” driver’s license. · Good ability to read, write and speak English. · Some vocational or technical training.
