Big Hearts Home Care is seeking a new member of our administrative team to handle invoicing and payroll. You will be supporting our operations in the Lower Mainland. You will be responsible for invoicing our private, WorkSafe BC and ICBC clients, as well as running payroll for all employees. Duties and Responsibilities The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the following: Prepare and run payroll for 70-100 employees on a bi-weekly basis Prepare invoices for all clients Verify employee hours worked Manage payroll errors and correct issues for employees Input and maintain all new clients and employees into accounting systems Create the relevant reports and track payments Communicate with clients regarding matters related to invoicing and payments Support administrative team with other tasks as needed Position Requirements 1+ years’ office experience 1+ years’ experience in payroll and invoicing Experience with WorkSafe BC invoicing considered and asset Comfortable using various office programs, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe and accounting software Self-managed as well as able to work as part of a team Excellent verbal and written communication skills Love bringing a positive customer service experience to clients Benefits Growth opportunities Competitive wage Flexible hours Company phone & laptop Extended health & dental benefits Subsidized continuing education Big Hearts Home Care is an equal opportunity employer.
