Position Summary: Acuren Group is currently recruiting an Administrative Assistant to support our Richmond office. The successful candidate will utilize their post-secondary certification or diploma and AutoCad certification/experience to add value to administrative services and will act as a “go to” person both technically and administratively. This position will be based in our Richmond, BC office. Responsibilities: This position will involve preparing inspection packages as part of pre-job planning activities; final reports, report preparation. Maintenance and closing duties including preparing quotes, cost summaries, invoices, etc. Accurate data entry of inspection field reports Data entry and administrative tasks as needed Recognize, identify and investigate data issues Adheres to quality standards and ensures accuracy of work Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, and related data to assess factors affecting the structure of piping and vessels, and the procedures and instructions to be followed. Review of contract documents with team members and checking of drawings for accuracy and coordination Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management Position Requirements Minimum 3 years’ related work experience, preferably in a consulting engineering company Minimum of 1 year costing and invoicing experience Proficient MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Experience with Visions database and MS Access will be considered as an asset Knowledge of API codes and other related NDT principles an asset We Are an Equal Opportunity Employer Consideration for employment is based upon capabilities and qualifications without discrimination on the basis of race, color, gender, age, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status or any other protected characteristic as established by law.
